Strategy, roots and technology.

I’m a communications professional and data analyst from Mexico. I work with data, processes and AI so that information is easy to understand and useful for making decisions.

Portrait of Jorge Emmanuel Mora Robles

A communicator by training, an analyst by curiosity.

I studied Social Communication at UAM Xochimilco, a public university in Mexico City, with a focus on digital journalism. Today I’m part of the Data & Intelligence team at a global strategic communications agency, where I analyze what gets published in the media and on social platforms and design AI-assisted workflows.

In 2023 I founded Micelio Marketing Digital to help civil society organizations and small businesses build their digital presence and take their first steps with AI. In 2026 I taught a community course on artificial intelligence in Cuautla, a city in the state of Morelos.

I also go by Yollocayotl, a word in Nahuatl, an Indigenous language still spoken in Mexico, that means “the one who listens to the heart.” It sums up how I work: I listen first, then I propose.

What I care about.

  • Tools that solve real problems

Small apps, automations and workflows that save someone time. For example, an app that logs an expense in two taps.

  • Processes

Looking at how a task gets done today, finding where time is lost, and deciding what to automate and what still needs a person.

  • Data that tells a story

Turning tables and numbers into clear explanations that help people make decisions.

  • Communication with cultural identity

Community, cultural and place-based projects that want to be heard without losing their own voice.

  • Learning AI with judgment

Helping people use AI in practical, responsible ways to create, study or organize their work.

My path so far.

  1. Account executive and data analyst

Data & Intelligence team at a global strategic communications agency. I analyze media coverage and online conversation, prepare materials for spokespeople and use AI to speed up reporting. Northern Latin America.

  2. AI for Cuautla

A community course on artificial intelligence, organized with Cuautla’s House of Culture and local government offices. The first edition brought together 21 people.

  3. Micelio Marketing Digital

Founder. Campaigns, digital presence and AI automation for civil society organizations and small businesses.

  4. Public sector communication

Institutional communication and workshops on AI and internal communication at Mexico City’s Financial Intelligence Unit.

  5. Social Communication, UAM Xochimilco

Focus on digital journalism. Certifications from Google, Tecnológico de Monterrey, QA Ltd and the University of Chicago. In progress: Google Advanced Data Analytics.

What people I’ve worked with say

Translated from Spanish.

AI and internal communication workshops
“The workshops weren’t about tools; they were about thinking differently about our work. The team left with concrete ways to apply it day to day.”
Daniel Quintero · Financial Intelligence Unit, Mexico City
Digital presence for academic work
“Building a presence out of academic work without dumbing it down is hard. Jorge understood from the start what kind of voice we needed.”
Dr. Pilar Berrios · UAM Xochimilco, Human Rights and Planning Network
Identity · Soluciones y Estrategias Ciudadanas
“We were clear on our purpose, but not on how to present it. The process made us pin down things we thought we had already defined. Today SEC has a recognizable voice.”
Carlos García · Co-founder, SEC

AI has already reached Mexico. Now the work is learning to use it well.

That’s why I teach and build: courses and simple tools that bring AI within reach of more people.

What I build

Personal app

Gastos

An expense tracker designed to log a purchase in as few taps as possible. It keeps accounts and cards apart and works out how much you can spend each day.

Verification system

Certificates with a unique ID

Every course participant receives a certificate with a unique ID that anyone can verify online.

Teaching method

The 4D method

Four steps for giving AI clear instructions. The four D’s come from the Spanish: define, describe, add context and set limits. I use it in the community courses.
